Four Officers from Ministry of Health Workshop in Barbados

During the week of August 26th to 31st four officers from the Ministry of Health attended a five day workshop held in Barbados. The workshop was put on by the Caribbean Cytometry & Analytical Society, which is a charity founded by members of the Barbados Ministry of Health’s HIV laboratory, and members of the University of the West Indies involved in laboratory science.

The National AIDS Program met with Guidance Counselors and Members of the Youth Department to review HIV Peer Educators Program.

On Wednesday May 9th the National AIDS Program met with guidance counselors and members of the youth department to Review the current HIV Peer educators programs within the Nation’s High Schools and to plan for the upcoming five day biennial youth Peer Educators training and year round updates. The meeting took place at the National AIDS Program Office on Grand Turk.
